He offered amity,
Simply I did agree.
Not knowingly,
It wasn't pure camaraderie.
As time passed by hastily,
Together we seized moments merrily.
Unconscious candidly,
We were too close already.
But wait, it cannot be.
Aren't we like, in a hurry?
Perhaps he just misses somebody,
A name he visualize akin to me.
Nervous I was, honestly.
Yet that thing kept on bothering me.
So there I posed abruptly,
"I bet you're in love. May I ask who is she?"
He smiled, stared at me blankly.
As I was waiting for his respond unwearyingly,
"You know it. I've liked you since day one." Said he.
Butterflies in my stomach fled into veracity.
